Testimonials from some of our many happy clients:
In April 2006 I had the privilege of being able to fulfill a lifelong dream to go trekking in the Himalayas for a whole month. Rudy form Around the World Adventures, suggested doing the Annapurna Circuit trek as the scenery is spectacular with varied geography and there are more opportunities for diverse cultural experiences than on the trek to Everest Base Camp. Rudy provided us a detailed itinerary of the three-week trek so we would know what to expect as far as elevation gain, mileage and scenic and cultural highlights. Our trip also included a flight-seeing trip around Everest and a multi-day trip to the Chitwan National Jungle where we got to ride on an elephant and see rhinos, monkeys, other “wildlife” and lots of birds. When I first spoke to Rudy about my dream trip I didn't’t think I would be able to afford it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when he provided me an extremely affordable price for the month-long trip. He also said that going to Nepal is a journey, not a destination, and the trip could change me inside. His words were prophetic as I thoroughly relished the opportunity to immerse myself in the peaceful beauty and tranquility of the mountains, the simple village life and warm and friendly Nepalese we encountered along the trail. I developed a deep inner peace that I treasure and I hope to return to the land of Never Ending Peace And Love (Nepal) again someday. If you are planning an adventure trip somewhere, I highly recommend using Around the World Adventures, Inc as they are very experienced, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, friendly and genuinely concerned about making your trip an experience you will treasure the rest of your life
I use two travel organizers. For Europe: "Europe through the Back Door" and for the rest of the world "Around the World Adventures, Inc".
I have gone on Four long trips with your company with Rudy leading three of them. Three in Asia and one in Africa . Since these are third world adventures we often run into some things not in the brochures. Rock slides, work stoppages, airline changes to name three of many events. In each of these you have shown calm, resourcefulness, energy and wonderful leadership qualities. I have experienced a number of personal highlights that few people will ever have an opportunity to be involved in.
I would like to compliment you and recommend your company to anyone who wants to walk the road less traveled with the confidence that they are in a unique situation but still safe and able to look forward to a cold Tusker beer in downtown Nairobi or a decent hamburger in the Thamal in Kathmandu.
I hope we will travel together again, soon.

Wake-up call is at 3:30 a.m. at base camp. We begin our steep climb to the top of Mt. Kenya, arriving at sunrise. Our descent is across a glacier. Later we stumble through a vertical bog, hoping to avoid the buffalo and make it to camp by dark.
(This is a rest day?...in Nepal)
Ah, a day of R&R in Manang, on the rugged trek up to Throng-La Pass. We step into snow as we leave our tents. Laundry is done in pans borrowed from the kitchen crew (only to be later trampled into the mud by a feisty bull). Gear is transferred from donkeys, (who would slip on the trail up to the Pass) to two new strong porters, hired on their way back from Tibet. Chores done, we visit an old monastery, then spend the afternoon climbing to the base of a glacier where we overlook the old town. Compared to tomorrow night's camping amidst a yak stampede, this was a peaceful break!
I've shared these adventures, and many more, with Rudy and Around the World Adventures, Inc. Travelling with him and his company is definitely not your standard "If it's Tuesday, it must be Belgium" tour!

I have had the pleasure of traveling through East Africa on a month long trip organized by Around the World Adventures, Inc. Rudy accompanied us every step of the way. The trip included eight safaris in three different countries and consisted of a combination of camping in the game parks and the use of hotels when traveling between them. Everything went extremely smooth considering that we had to use three different guide/transportation companies. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend using Around the World Adventures for all your travel needs.
